Upcoming Car Models

Toyota Yaris (April 2010)

Expected Price: Rs. 5,50,000
The Toyota Yaris Hatch, expected to be introduced in India in April 2010, has a distinct edge over other premium hatches like the Hyundai i20 and the Honda Jazz in the looks department. It also scores well in space and comfort aspects.

Fiat Palio CNG (April 2010)

Expected Price: Rs. 4,50,000
Everything is going green. Not to be left behind, Fiat now also comes up with a CNG version of its only car in India. After getting the multijet engine in Palio, CNG version will make sure that Fiat’s customer go nowhere.

Chevrolet Spark - 800cc (May 2010)

Expected Price: Rs. 3,00,000
Maruti 800 will soon get competition in the form of Chevrolet Spark which would be coming in a 800cc engine version. The Spark would have a three cylinder engine similar to that of Daewoo Matiz.

Nissan Micra (May 2010)

Expected Price: Rs. 4,50,000
Nissan is manufaturing a hatchback in Japan keeping in mind the needs, conditions and requirements of the Indian car market. This would see Nissan competing with India’s big guns in auto sector like Maruti and Hyundai

Skoda Small Car (July 2010)

Expected Price: Rs. 4,00,000
After capturing the B and C Segment with Fabia and Octavia respectively, Skoda plans to capture the small car market. Skoda is planing to launch the car in India before the global launch.

Mahindra Renault Sandero(August 2010)
 
Expected Price: Rs. 5,00,000
The all new hatchback from Renault’s stable, the Sandero, is expected to come to India with multiple engine options. Far better looking than the Logan, it will share the bigger car’s platform and class leading comfort and space

Mitsubishi Colt (January 2011)

Expected Price: Rs. 4,50,000
Taking a cue from its competitors in India, Mitsubishi too is ready to plunge into the small car segment with its new hatchback, the Colt. The car is likely to come with a 74 bhp, 1.1 litre petrol engine and will be sporty in its looks.

 Nissan Ultra Low Car ( January 2011)

Expected Price: Rs. 1,00,000

Bajaj, Renault and Nissan have partnered up to manufacture a small car that would compete with Tata Motors' Nano. The manufacturers hope to export the car to other emerging markets using Renault-Nissan’s established global sales network.
